How we work
Discover Time Tested Lifetime Income Strategies

01
Start With the Paycheck, Not the Pile
First we add up what your life actually costs, then subtract what Social Security already covers. What is left is your gap, and it is a monthly number rather than a pile. Every annuity we look at after that gets measured against it.

02
Design an Income the Market Cannot Touch
A fixed indexed annuity with a lifetime income rider puts a floor under the money you cannot afford to gamble with. Your principal follows a stock index without taking the losses when that index falls, and the check arrives on the first of the month whether the year was good or ugly.

03
The Right Annuity Out of Thousands on the Street
Most annuities sold in this country are not worth your money. Seriously. We compare 1200+ annuities and reject over 98 percent of them. We compare ratings, rates, safety of reserves, and how much income each of your dollars actually buys. That last one is worth thousands a year on the same rollover.

04
The Rest of Your Money Keeps Growing
Because the guaranteed income from the annuity is covering your expenses, nothing forces you to sell stocks in a bad year to pay this month's bills. Your growth money — money in the market — compounds untouched, with a year or two of cash sitting beside it. That's what turns a market crash into a non-event.

05
A True Partner in Your Corner
We never stop caring about your outcomes. Your plan can get reviewed as rates move and as your life changes. Income can start later, be paused, and/or adjusted for inflation with a "refinance" of your original annuity. In addition, a lifetime spousal rider can protect whoever lives longer. You are never a stranger or a number to us. We are real people and we care about your next 10, 20, and 30 years.
Your Money Machine Questions, Answered
Will I run out of money?
That is the question sitting underneath every other question on this page. A lifetime income annuity answers it in writing. The payment lands every month for as long as you live, whether that turns out to be another twelve years or another thirty-five, and whether the market spent them climbing or falling. One job, permanently covered.
What is a fixed indexed annuity?
Your money follows a stock index, usually something like the S&P 500. In the years that index climbs, your account grows with it. In the years it falls, you sit the loss out.
There is a trade. The good years are capped, so you give up some of the top in exchange for certainty about the bottom. Add a lifetime income rider and that same account also pays you a set check every month for the rest of your life.
How much of my savings goes in?
Start with the bill, not with a percentage. Add up what your life actually costs each month, then subtract what Social Security already covers. What is left over is your gap, and covering that gap is the annuity's whole job. Everything above it stays where it is, invested and growing.
What happens to my husband or wife?
A lifetime spousal rider keeps the income running for whoever lives longer. Men usually go first, and the wife is often the one left holding a plan she had no hand in building. Setting the rider up on day one is what keeps her check from stopping on the worst day of her life.
Why reject 98% of annuities?
Because most of them were designed for the company selling them. Ratings, reserves and the headline interest rate all get checked. But the number that decides it is the income rate, meaning how much monthly income each of your dollars actually buys, and that figure is often nothing like the interest rate on the brochure. On the same rollover, that one number is worth thousands a year.
Can I move my 401(k) or TSP?
Yes. A 401(k), 403(b), 457 plan or TSP transfers straight across, with no tax bill for making the move. Your required minimum distributions, Roth conversions, Social Security timing and beneficiary designations all get looked at while the paperwork is open, because that is where the expensive mistakes usually hide.
What if rates change after I buy?
Rates move and so does your life. Income can start later than you first planned, be paused, or be adjusted for inflation, and an older annuity can sometimes be refinanced into a stronger one much the way a mortgage is. Your plan gets reviewed as those things change rather than filed away on the day you sign.
